Welcome to AtomicMush 2.0. I had a PRO account on Flickr for over 10 years. I retired last year, and the new annual fee doubling to $50 is a bit steep for me. I will instead spend my money of other more-necessary things.

When my PRO account was ended, I had posted almost 10,000 photos and videos. I deleted most if them, with a tear in my eye, to make room for new work. Thankfully, I have backups. So now that I am retired, I will increase my picture-taking effort, but will need to limit what I post to stay under my free account limits.
