Atomic Design was incorporated in 1996 as an extension for company in-house marketing teams and agency creative. We began designing websites in 1997, and Search Engine Optimization (though it didn't have a name at the time), in 1999. We were there for the dot com boom and bust, and enjoyed the experience. Since then we have built an impressive portfolio designing everything from NASCAR cars, Houston Space Center Children’s Museum graphics, Microsoft Fusion International graphics, 1996 Centennial Olympics graphics, Kellogg's Cereal boxes, and hundreds of websites.
