Amar was one the earliest people I encountered when I first picked up my camera in 2004. He has since been a source of great support and inspiration. Often nudging me in the right direction without trying to mould me or influence my work. Another thing about him is his ability to encourage fellow photographers and still engage them. Has a photographer his work has evolved and progressed from strength to strength. From his earlier intense portrayal of Bhavam and Abhinya of the Indian classical dancers to his now highly innovative portraits He is above all a friend :)
