Atelier Sol is the studio of Kristin Solias.

My mom used to say she wondered how I would have turned out if she’d taken me to investment banks as a child instead of museums. I think that art, in some form, would have still been my calling.

I've described my style as ancient forms with a contemporary sensibility, but sometimes it's the other way round, contemporary forms with an ancient sensibility. Either way, my background in medieval art history—and my affinity for artifacts and relics and ruins—definitely informs my jewelry, clothing, and even photography.
