I joined Flickr as a pro member in 2007 but have taken a long hiatus. I returned in 2020. I started using Gimp because it came with my Linux program when I quit using Windows. The learning curve was steep but I kept at it I had no other experience with graphic programs before so I really struggled. I do strictly digital art such as kaleidoscopes, photo manipulation, and abstract art. I started doing Gimp tutorials after using the program for a couple of years. During my hiatus, I stopped using Gimp and switched back to using Windows. It's almost like learning Gimp all over again.
