Hello.

My name is Susan. I relocated to Portland, Oregon a year ago. I am an architect by profession but on a break since I moved here. I sort of stumbled into sewing while I was exploring my options in this new city..and Oh My!...I am in love with it since the first stitch.

Like most of you women out there,i love bags...and once I realized that I am armed(pun intended) with the skills to make them, I have been on a roll, and that's how my shop, A SUNNY DISPOSITION was born.

I enjoy the process, the challenges that some of these bags may provide but the best part is when the last stitch is sewn..ahh....the pleasure to see something functional and oh-so beautiful come together out of a flat bolt of fabric and a spool of thread!

There is something special about handmade which no store bought product can ever have. And that is what I wish to extend on to you....
