I am not finding someone elsewhere, so I'll include a link here. I am currently looking for someone who can be a living kidney donor. I am now on peritoneal dialysis. I have been listed in Southern California for almost 3 years, but the average wait is about 8 years. If you would consider being a donor or know someone interested in donating a kidney, please visit www.kidneyforthad.info -- thank you!

Astronomy has been a life-long passion for me, but It took longer to get into astrophotography. I acquired most of the rig that I currently use in 2010, and I have been playing and learning since then. The Nikon D80 has also been getting more of a workout lately, especially due to using a Minitrack for keeping up with Earth's rotation. I also have a modified Nikon D5100 now, which does a very nice job with ionized hydrogen regions. I am lucky to have some terrific sites within a few hours drive here in California.

Some of these photos appear in "The Backyard Astronomer's Field Guide: How to Find the Best Objects the Night Sky has to Offer" by David Dickinson.

I teach astronomy and physics at Cerritos College, and I have organized my images into albums to use during my astronomy lectures. I also advise the Astronomy Club there. Hopefully, this involvement gets more people interested in astronomy so that amateur astronomy continues to flourish.
