Proud but exhausted father of two trying to balance family, work, and art.

I’m too old to figure most of the features of my new cell phone, but young enough to still look forward to having a mid-life crisis… one day.

I hid out in an academic bubble for over 12 years, mainly as a student, but also as a teacher, where I tried to inspire people to create beautiful and interesting things to subvert the imperialist machine. Fortunately, I now reside in the very real world of Los Angeles with the sometimes backwards-heard-of-plastic-inspired Angelenos, which can make life quite interesting. Unfortunately, my brain has begun to fester.

After being a father, and life partner, I am an artist. I float through this captivating world, contemplating all the different human manifestations of power, while deconstructing the idea of power itself. I often question whether Nietzsche’s brilliant ramblings have inspired, or soiled my thoughts. It is these musings have been the conceptual foundation of my art over the last decade.
