Oz Mendoza (aka John Oscar Emmanuel Rivera) was recently living in Hollywood, where he spent way too much time talking to drunk weirdos in Metro stations while waiting for the subway. He hates the LA Metro with a deep-seated vengeance, tempered only by the fact that he once saw the most beautiful girl in the world on the subway. (Quite unexpectedly, she was a black girl living a stop away from Compton.)
