When my Ricoh RDC-7 gave up on me I really started missing my camera.

After being in India workrelated for 5 weeks (without having a camera!) at the end of 2004 I have bought a new camera (Canon 20D) in January 2005.

I have taken up photography more seriously since then, taking 2 courses on photography with the Photo academy in Amsterdam. Currently doing a higher vocational education in Photography (also at the photo academy).

My gear:

Canon 5D mark II

Canon 60D

Canon 24mm 1.4 L USM II

Canon 100-400 L IS USM

Canon 70-200 2.8 L IS II USM

Tamron 90 mm 2.8 SP Di (macro)

Canon speedlite 550EX

Canon MR-14EX Macro Ring Lite

Gitzo Carbon 6x tripod

Gitzo Basalt 2830

Really Right Ballhead

B+W Slim Circular polariser

B+W 106 ND 1,8-6 BL

B+W Infrared filter

For storage:

My message to everyone here: keep taking those gorgious pictures and posting them to Flickr so the rest of the world can see them!

MiRea says:

Astrid is truely a wonderful photographer with a natural eye that allows her to get the right shot more often than not. As a Flickr group administrator, she is also topnotch; did I mention she is really really really good at math? :o)
