Sascha is one of those creative souls who shows an innate sense of what makes a great photograph. You cannot really teach this, and certainly not to the level at which he grasps the intangibles of imaging. His camera equipment is relatively basic, but who would know? His compositions, his angles, his use of light, his creativity, his honest and direct style, and his formidable Photoshop skills produce stunning images -- powerful visual poetry. His struggles with depression and self-worth pervade his self-portraiture, but beyond that part of him is a man who dearly loves his wife and three children. He's a thoughtful, caring, intuitive, intelligent, and funny man, which is obvious in his images. I am glad to count him among my friends.
