I wanted to write something concise but insightful about Asiunka, but I find my writing skills worse than my photographic ones. It was a joy to find her Flickr group: a small group of people who love the natural world around them, and want to observe it, share it, record it. The rules she has listed for "Unaltered Nature" state that so well. Asiunka's photostream and sets show her passion for that world, and joy in it. And by following her lead in Flickr groups, I have found some of the best groups, best in quality of photos, imagination of members and responsiveness of administrators. Just like her. I used to be "exphotographer" because I lost interest in photography many years ago. I set up a flickr account to give my family the opportunity to see some of my old photos, if they wished, without me having to subject them to the "you must look at my holiday snaps" routine. I joined Unaltered Nature and Landscapes because it looked like an amazing group and indeed it is. This group and Asiunka's generous comments on my photos have been significant contributing factors in my renewed interest in and love of photography and my consequential transformation to "former-exphotographer". I'm not sure my family, who now have to endure a string of "look at this" emails, would thank her but I do from the very depths of my heart. Mike

When I first joined flickr Asiunka was the very first person to comment on my photography, and for some time the only one. She is very special to me! I doubt I would ever have got the hang of how things work here at flickr with out her friendship. I've almost been here 4 months now, and during this time have noticed what a caring, giving, and kind person she is. She is so giving of her time here at flickr, and amazes me not only with her beautiful photography, but with her unending promotion of others work through her beautiful creations. Truly a unselfish beautiful human being she is. In my opinion, a kinder heart could not be found here at flickr. I am so very proud to call her my flickr friend.
