Asio LIU Chihsiung is an analog bus driver (*) and indie filmmaker based in Taipei County (**). His documentary EXOTIC EXOTICISM: PLANT WARS (2007) was officially screened in 2009 Documentary Fortnight at MoMA (New York). His directorial debut AND SHE WASN'T was included in the 2001 Sundance Film Festival's Shorts Program. He is best known for directing a biographical documentary on HUANG HAI-DAI, the legendary godfather of Taiwanese Puppetry born in 1901, for Discovery Networks Asia’s PORTRAITS TAIWAN (2007) series.
