My most interesting journeys I had before invention of digital cameras. Those photographs I have on slides.

First trip to Asia in 1979 - just two weeks, but long enough to fall in love with this fascinating cultures and to dedicate most of my attention to this part of the world. Since 1981 I have travelled every two years for 5 month through Asia. Since 2000 almost every year for 5 month.

In 1987 I traveled around the world for five month. In total I´ve been 15x Thailand/Singapore/West-Malaysia/East-Malaysia (Sarawak/Sabah),

15x Indonesia (Sulawesi, Sumatra, Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, Komodo, Lembata, Alor, Timor, West Papua, Borneo (Brunei/Kalimantan/Sarawak/Sabah)

1x Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, South Korea, 6x Hongkong, 6x China, 7x India and Nepal (in total two years just in India), 1x Sri Lanka, Philippines, New Zealand,

South Pacific (Fiji, Cook Islands, Tahiti, Morea, Bora Bora)

North America, Mexico, Costa Rica, British Virgin Islands, American Virgin Islands . . .

. . . and the ones I forgot to mention.

I have spent about 100.000 hours just at the computer to edit all of my photos. None of the photos of the architecture you can use out of the camera! Not one! All photos of the temples are edited. If you have the photographic eye you will see the difference to all other photos in the world! Editing one photo of a temple can take 1-3 hours.

My picture of the Marienkirche in Lübeck took 8 hours to edit! The room of the church is 35 meter high and I was standing on the floor of this room. I know this is none sense, it was just to show what is possible. No one will get a picture like that.
