Hi, I’m Ashwath Ram.

I recently turned 55 and embarked on a new chapter in life—one shaped by purpose, exploration, and the freedom to create. After more than two decades in an executive leadership role at Cummins, where I had the privilege of contributing to global strategy, transformation, and sustainable growth, I chose early retirement to pursue entrepreneurship and a more fluid, cross-continental lifestyle between India and the United States.

My journey has always been anchored by my wife, Vinita, my partner in life and my unwavering source of strength. This year, we celebrate 40 years of knowing each other and 32 years of marriage—a milestone that means the world to us.

We are parents to two wonderful children, Chitra and Mukul, who are building meaningful lives in Chicago and Washington, DC. Our family circle is completed by our six beautiful dogs—Lille, Thor, Calvin, Ocean, Tessa, and Jennings—who fill our home with energy, joy, and the occasional chaos.

Life for us is about discovering beauty in small things and meaningful experiences. We are passionate about photography, cinema, books, music, and travel. Whether capturing golden hour light on a trail, discussing a powerful film, or planning our next adventure, we believe in living intentionally and with curiosity.

As I step into entrepreneurship, I bring with me decades of global leadership, an eye for innovation, and a deep respect for people and partnerships. This next chapter is about building businesses, communities, and memories—on a foundation of integrity and shared purpose.
