Ashton is a great friend, on and off of Flickr. I forget how we met on here, but we probably did so through a graffiti related group. We both appreciate graffiti art and photographing it. He always goes out of his way to leave comments that actually have meaning. Not just "Nice!" or "Excellent!"....though sometimes I am guilty of such comments, I do truly mean those words. He is always heartfelt in his comments. I love the perspective that he brings to his photography. His angles, the tones/color, and the mood. I always feel what the photo is conveying. I don't have to ask where I stand. He is a great guy, and anyone looking for a great friend will never be let down. ~Kate

Ashton is a great friend on Flickr. I always look for his photostream when I log on to Flickr. Ash is able to capture the fast changing streets of his city, Toronto Canada. He doesn't mind getting dirty or wet to take us there. I really enjoy his recent graffiti photos. Which he is able to showcase more as art than anything else. It's been great getting to know Ash and I encourage everyone to take some time and enjoy his world that he so graciously shares with us. Ashton routinely posts high-quality pictures in his stream, and yet he doesn't come off as a snob who requires worship by the people...in fact he seems very modest, and his combination of skill and modesty makes me feel welcome when viewing and commenting on his pictures. Whenever I want to see a good picture from the distant and mysterious west end of the GTA, I look at Ashton's stream.

Through a rough fall & winter for me, my dear friend Ash always put a smile on my face...not only with his interesting wonderful photos but his emails too that show his kindness. I've seen his sadness, humor and compassion reflected in shots....his titles and notes are so enlightening. Just love how he has evolved and grown in his perspective. Ash gives his view of our city, Toronto, seen through his eyes; a collection that no tourist would find in a travel magazine but a definite must to view.
