My name is Ashley and I enjoy food. There are few things I find more satisfying than sitting around a table with those close to me sharing a thoughtfully prepared meal with quality ingredients. And it’s not just about eating it, either. While savoring delicious flavors is without a doubt one of my favorite past times, it wouldn’t have the same effect if I didn’t know how my meal was contributing to the health of my body or how the food was grown or raised. My concern for health, ethical practices and sustainable agriculture paired with my interest in gastronomy, the culinary arts and quality time at the dinner table planted the so-called seed for Savvy Table.

 

The aim of Savvy Table is to be a melting pot of seasonal recipes, culinary experiences, informative literature and film reviews as well as general thoughts with the goal to partner with those who are well-informed, respectful and enthusiastic about the quality of our food and how it gets from its origin to our dinner plates.
