In May 2006, my uncle gave me a polaroid one-step camera when I went to visit him in Spokane Washington. I started bringing it everywhere with me, untill I had enough photos to fill my bedroom wall, and an empty wallet(Polaroid film is expensive!) It started an obsession with photography and finally in early 2007 I moved on to a digital SLR

Being self taught, everything has been trial & error. Everyday i'm learning something new, and im constantly looking back on old photos and realizing I'm not pleased with them. I'm incessantly re-shooting & re-editing untill I feel its perfect. Then a few days later I realize I once again hate it, and recreate it again.

"...Its a compulsive disorder really, thats the disease--artists suffer from a feeling of chronic incompletion. That emptiness or void is the thing to which we respond and attempt to fill with images and with meaning, and if there were something to suffice or satisfy us, we'd simply resign ourselves to the pursuit and our passions would escape us."
