Learned to handsew by age 5, then my teacher-Grandma-passed away. When I was 10 my grandpa gave me her Singer Featherweight. I taught myself to sew without assistance of any kind-preInternet days! Barbie clothes were my first projects! We were required to sew on project in Home Ec- No one in my classes finished theirs, I on the otherhand would complete 4-5 & help others, giving them tips.

Now I have my very own wonderful sewing room-favorite room of the house! I sew every single day, usually with my 2 boys (pugs) & kitties helping.
