In high school, I took a few photo classes and my Dad bought me an enlarger....that is where my love affair with photography began. I recently bought myself a Nikon D90, and take photos to capture moments-- not to always seize the "perfect shot." I just love beauty, and appreciate being able to go back and look at where I have been. I am an amateur, and like it that way. :)

I was born and raised in the Memphis, TN area and while I love the south, I am looking forward to exploring other areas of the US. have a strong sense of home and love the land where I was raised. I have a wonderful, supportive family and without them I wouldn't be who I am today. I am in college, and still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up. :)

I love feeling vibrantly alive.

I believe life is what you make it. Simply put: you will only gain as much as you give. I am a loving, self assured, independent woman who is often misunderstood. I am learning to be more vulnerable, (once I realized it's not necessarily a sign of weakness.) One thing is for sure though- with me: what you see is what you get. Life is too short to play games with one another. I have learned a little about a lot during my 28 years and I hope that my willingness to talk about my personal experiences will make someone else's life a little easier. I really should write a book...
