I am a second generation Maltese/Italian Australian. I have lived all my life in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne Australia. I am a signage manufacturor / signwriter by trade. I have always been arty and loved art and graphics at school. In may late teens early twenteys I took up airbrushing. I realy enjoied this type of media, but with my gear at home I had to set up each time and not having enough time to prouce my artworks because of work, I let it go by the wayside a bit. I got into photography when I bought my first camera and am self tought in this media through books and magazines. My first camera was a Minolta Dimage Z1 3.2 mega pixle and 10x optical zoom. I love it and it takes good photos. I now own a Canon 30D DSLR. It has a 60mm macro, 17mm to 85mm f4.5 - 5.6 UMS IS lens and a 75mm to 300mm f4.5 - 5.6 UMS IS lens.
