What fascinates me about nature, , is its refusal to duplicate.

Seeking to exemplify that which defines the quality of uniqueness in an individual is the primary focus

of my portraits . I work in graphite, color pencil, oils, acrylics , pastels, mixed media. on paper or canvas .I enjoy all aspects of art and have a background in realistic portraits of animals and people, , mural painting, surrealism ,conceptual art. jewelry making, multiple crafts using my own processes, and even furniture design . I also enjoy photography, as reference, for studies as well as capturing the moment .

Each project is a new beginning .. technique is often out the door as experimentation in is perpetual... but I do seek a standard .and will work until I achieve it to the best of my ability .
