My frequent travels throughout the world with my Geologist husband have provided unique opportunities for me to learn about other peoples, their customs and their languages. My academic interests lie in Fine Arts (BFA) and German Literature (PhD).

Once I took my first digital photo I knew that my camera would become another vehicle for creative expression. Therefore, as an avid amateur photographer, my aim is to digitally try to capture whatever I see from an artistic point of view.

I am so excited to be a Flickr member and to finally have the opportunity to upload my many photos where they can be seen and commented on by such an international viewership!

I appreciate all of you who have viewed and taken the time to comment and fave my photostream. Your photos certainly serve to inspire and delight me each and every day. Keep clicking! I know I will.:)

For some time now, I have been viewing Peggy's photos on flirck. She is a very talented photographer who excels in a variety of fields such as landscapes, macros of flowers and fruits. For some time now, I have been viewing Peggy's photos on flirck. She is a very talented photographer who excels in a variety of fields such as landscapes, macros of flowers and fruits. Like an artist, she plays with shades of colours. Moreover, Peggy is a charming friend who comes to see my photographs regularly and leaves very elaborate comments. I am very honoured to appear in her list of contacts and I invite you to discover her work. Jacques Bruxelles septembre 2007"

Peggy you see things in natural objects that others fail to see. Often the closer you look at something the grand design of nature reveals itself. Most of us casually consume scenery and I want to thank you for reminding me of the intricate beauty there is in the world.
