I am a visual artist/painter living in Maine. I'm an amateur photographer. I do some product photography for online sales of vintage items and my own art, and nature images like landscapes, flowers and mushrooms, and enjoy playing with digital design.

The natural world has always struck the creative chord in me, and I try to spend a lot of time outdoors. I do a lot of identification of wildlife, plants and fungus, so photography is very useful for this. I forage edibles as well and am interested in nutrition and cooking.

My childhood is a rich source of inspiration for art, crafts and subjects for photographs. I was brought up on a self sufficient homestead and as a kid I was often found roaming forests and meadows miles from town. I love and collect antiques to add to those that I've inherited. My adventures include hiking, roller skating, exploring Maine, attending estate sales, and offering vintage goodies on etsy or ebay.
