Taking pictures - for me - is a way of recording and communicating the way I encounter my surroundings. I don't believe any of my work is groundbreaking, technically sound or visually impressive - that is not my intention. But I do hope my images offer something interesting to see, observe and perhaps enjoy a detail of something that would otherwise be overlooked in everyday life.

I teach design and have lived and worked in India, New Zealand and now am in America. Home for me is a complex notion, though on some level it will always be India. I write on the subject of Indian tastes and clothing (fashion), dabble in mix media drawings and take photographs when opportunity strikes.
