My first Flickr posts back in 2010 were images for anyone interested in historic photos and other documents from the families of my parents, William F. and Helen (Mathews) LaBar and their forebears. Some posted family photographs are 100 or more years old. To me, those photos are family icons. In return, I will fave photos I like, although I generally do not spend time with photostreams where no information accompanies the images. For example, if all you post is, say, "IMG_1234" and no description, I will not fave or comment.
