Profeta de la luz Eliud...! ¿Será cierto tanta maravilla encontrada así, en este maravilloso mundo del arte, la expresión, el sentir y la pasión???? Hay personas que creen en ti con la cabeza, hay otras que creen en ti con el corazón, y hay personas mágicas (como tú), que convierten en oro todo lo que tocan, porque también la esperanza viva está, y presente en todo lo que hacen. La esperanza, es lo último que se pierde en las almas puras. Creo en tu visión, tanto como en tu arte, porque no está basado en la destrucción, sino en la construcción, quizás también en el sufrimiento que ayuda a crecer. No lo sé con certeza, pero a tientas voy encontrando perlas maravillosas de tu personalidad y de tu presencia como amigo.... I wish! I wish! que tu arte tuviera fortuna y éxito, fuerza y poder. Eliud eres sí un artista con mayúsculas! No haz perdido la sensibilidad tremenda que te indica la luz a seguir.... Que bueno haberte encontrado como amigo, que maravilla poderte gozar como artista, que magnífico de tener un pedacito de tu corazón tan cerca, si así tan cerca... con tu amor por la humanidad, desde el corazón del mal contemporáneo, con un sentimiento cojeando hacia el Sur, desde el Norte mirando hacia allá, al continente indo-africano sin perder la brújula de los encuentros. DeLares is one of my dearest friends ... not just on flickr, but anywhere. a superb photographer and artist, DeLares has generously shared with us his truly amazing, varied, stunning images.. if you take the time to treat yourself to travels through his photostream, you are in for a real treat!.. you will arrive in his Puerto Rico and find places only a native can show you.. you will hit New York and be dazzled by his streetlife adventures, in living color ~ and then breathe in the black & white of the City, which his amazing eye clarifies and amplifies.. you will enter a photography studio and see the sensitivity & sensuality that his spirit brings to working with artists' models.. you will be welcomed into the home of his friends (some of whom have lived nearly a century) about whom he has done heartful, compassionate photographic essays .. to tell their stories and, indeed, show the beauty of their very souls... and... so, so, so much more... DeLares is a fountain talent and artistry ... and yet, to me, what is most exquisite about Eliud is his heart. he is a lightsource .. a healer .. a wiseman .. a true friend ... a generous, enlightened and energized soul. Eliud is a being who truly enhances the world in which he lives ... who enhances the lives of others. (and certainly he has enhanced mine! .. he, along with his doggies Coqui and Rico, are a gift which i sense was given to me by my guardian angels.. ;-) in Hebrew, Eliud means "prophet of light" ... and this child of Lares, Puerto Rico was perfectly named.. find yourself on Eliud's photostream and dance in his light!
