We set the background...

Art Connect was formed in 2007 by 3 passionate entrepenuers from different backgrounds who shared the love of unique and underground art. The project was originated by Franco Vescovi. Franco is a veteran tattoo artist who has not only been a tattoo artist for 15 years but has pursued fine art painting. art collecting and music as just some of his other many passions. Franco Vescovi thought of the idea in 2003 as he would see so many talented artist with amazing pieces that he knew that people would love if they knew where to get it. Over those years he became so busy tattooing the project was moving forward but slowly. During this time Franco had the fortunate and blessed opportunity to tattoo many famous celebrities and win awards establishing him as respected tattoo artist in the area. Franco then decided to bring in 2 partners Ray Thorsky (award-winning digital media artist, clothing designer, painter/artist, videographer, music producer, computer programmer) to handle all digital media and ecommerce. and Casey (artist, designer, marketing, events, etc..)

Collectively we all agreed there was no place to truly find a plethora of art choices for someone wanting style other than the mass produced art that is the same almost everywhere you go and we have all had problems finding unique and great art that does not cost thousands for our own homes.
