Colored Pencil Artist

Around May of 2017, I bought a tutorial and the necessary pencils to create a piece of artwork for my mom for a Mother's Day gift. I enjoyed it so much, I then tried to create a picture of my dog. That's when I knew I wanted to learn more... But, I had to wait a year to figure out what I needed, and to collect supplies!!

In May of 2018, I had the necessary supplies and set up an art studio area. By June, I began learning how to create art using colored pencils via half a dozen or so tutorial lessons - loving every minute of it!! 😁

In November of 2018, I was happy to be able to create a few pieces of my 'own' artwork, including a few for CPM's monthly contests. I won the first contest I entered, as a beginner, so was immediately popped into the advanced category. That same month, my second piece of artwork was chosen to be published on the back of another magazine.

I am continuing to learn via more tutorials, and workshops!
