i'm a freelance book designer, and an artist. i work on my art most of the day, every day. i've won numerous awards for my book designs and my art. i'm a vassar grad, and after a 25 year career in publishing, working full time in everything from daily newspapers to glossy magazines, i quit working full time 5 years ago to concentrate on my art. now i'm hoping for that 'big break', so i can start paying some bills again, lol!
