Paul is one of the reasons I was able to survive last year as well as I did. He also motivated me to keep shooting when I had no desire to at all, and for that I am grateful quite literally forever. He has done with his life what few in his position are able to do, and with the support of what appears to be a quite awesome family. I hope I meet them all someday, and I hope that day is in the sooner part of this life!

Paul is one of those rare photographers whose photos draw you in, inviting you to share in his view of the world. Whether they are of his family, random sightings along his travels or some beautiful object, they afford a refreshing perspective that makes me see things just a little bit differently. I love that his family is featured so often. The lens he turns on them is a loving one, and it makes them even more beautiful. He has a unique talent for seeing the extraordinary in the every day happenings of life, and I am so glad he shares his vision with us.

Paul is a fun and friendly individual with quite possibly the biggest and most persistent smile I have ever seen. A wonderful sense of humour translates incredibly well into photographs which Paul demonstrates with pride. His jump shots make an interesting and entertaining difference to the world of portraiture, even though his classic portraits are also top notch. A loving family requires great love back and Paul has heaps of this as is evident in his wonderful portraits of daughters, sons, and his wife. Having had the pleasure of spilling beer together I consider Paul a friend and inspiration to do better. Many thanks for sharing a slice of your life Paul, I will continue to watch in wonderment.

Paul is an affable, humorous man with an affinity for jumpers (not the woolen kind you wear), but he's also so much more. He's the pick-me-up at the end of a long day. He's the hullo you didn't know you needed. He's the oh-my-god-did-he-really-take-a-picture-of...! guy. He's got nothing to prove, yet he proves it anyway, time and again. Nothing is sacred, everything is sacred. Don't believe he's got the bollocks? Just ask him, he'll show you. :) Most of all, enjoy him for the crazy, lovable, wonderful man he is - it's what he's here for.

Paul is sunny-side up. He’s such a perky, gregarious, goofball, that he’s easy to adore. He may even be the cure for depression with his charming, candid photos. Quick with a witty comeback or challenge, I find that Paul is not only entertaining, but a true kindred spirit. His playful personality is truly a precious gift. ...and then...he’ll post an image that stops me in my tracks. Sometimes I gasp, other times, I’m just simply amazed. Paul is the best of both worlds; the silly and the sublime. Through his images, I feel like I know Paul and his wonderful family. I hope to meet them one day for that sweet-fated food orgy somewhere in New York City, some time soon.

Don't bother trying to analyze Paul. It's an exercise in futility, for several reasons - the best of which is that he's truly, truly happy. How does some random bloke from across the pond know this? It doesn't take long to see the pure joy in the small bits of his life he's chosen to share with the FlickrWorld. After a few glances, his art and commentary puts you in the right frame of mind as to fully enjoy what he's saying with his lens. It's almost as if he's opened up the front door, invited you for breakfast and insisted you come along with the fam for the day. And THAT is what this is all supposed to be about. Thank you, Paul.

Paulo is a git. By which I mean, I recognise his inner git, much as I recognise my own. Flickr is absolutely, undoubtedly, undisputedly a more interesting and amusing place to be due to Paulo’s presence. Sometimes, I admit, the cap flies off and I lose the thread, but hell, who couldn’t say the same about me? Once he’s made you belly laff for a bit, the bastadd will then post some highly-inventive, wonderfully-composed image to remind you what a fine photographer he is n’all. But, he’s like that. Via his photostream, you’ll also get a great look into his daily life (and that of his poor, long-suffering, made-to-jump family :) and how he sees the world. Good, juicy stuff all round, innit.
