I am an adventurous, athletic and artistic physician. I view the world as a vast palette of color and richness ready to be experienced and at which one should marvel. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to see much of the world and I have been both humbled and awe-struck. My travels have taken me to both poles (the Arctic and Antarctica), from the Amazon to Asia , from the Serengeti to the Outback, and from Greenland to Patagonia. I have witnessed the marvels of China and India, and have turned the prayer wheels in Tibet. I have sailed the Caribbean and the wine-blue Aegean, have soared over Kilamanjaro and Dinali. I am passionate about all things artistic, and I try to find beauty and meaning wherever I go. I enjoy painting in oils, both people and landscapes, and I find solace and serenity in nature. I am also an avid photographer and I try to imbue my portraits with a special sensitivity. I enjoy fashion photoshoots and capturing the defining moments of city life. I love the outdoors, and enjoy sailing and hiking. Impromptu weekend getaways have proved to me that exploring in one's own backyard can provide unexpected pleasures. In the summer, the beaches of Fire Island or the Hamptons are unrivaled. In autumn, the sweet aroma of the North Fork vineyards and the fall colors beckon. Visiting art museums or the galleries in Soho is a favorite pastime. I continually try to expand my horizons by attending after-work classes when I can, such as those at the Art Student's League or the International Center of Photography. I love that New York City provides a wealth of cultural events to sample, such as theatre, opera and ballet. I value most family and friends, art and travel.
