Architect graduated from the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia in 2002. Has broad experience in design, construction and project coordination. In 2010 founded Arquitectura en Equilibrio (www.arquitecturaenequilibrio.com), a company focused on the implementation of alternative construction systems with low environmental impact and high social value. From this platform, projects have been successfully designed and constructed in a collaborative format with rural and aboriginal communities in countries like Malawi, Mexico, Colombia, and Ecuador.

The visión and aspiration of Arquitectura en Equilibrio is to empower communities by providing simple solutions to basic needs through architecture, design, and construction workshops to address particular infrastructure requirements. Solutions are co-worked and co-designed integrating with care and respect, cultural values, social and natural context, and local materials and craftsmanship to create clean and appropriate architecture with the least environmental impact possible. Architecture that their dwellers eventually are proud to claim as their creation.
