My name is Richard Morgan and I am a rock hound. My interest in the Lapidary Arts is to help others to get the most informative facts in understanding the earth sciences while learning how to best display their discoveries.

The information that I write is a compilation reading about the subject, talking with people that have been working with the material, some that found new claims, and knowledge gained looking for rocks, cutting and polishing rocks, and forty years of spending some time in a shop helping and instructing others to get the best out of their finds.
