My name is Árni Hafsteinsson and I started to love photography when I took my PPL in 1998 and flew across Iceland in a small Cessna 150 with Sony T33 P&S camera and took landscape pictures.

The year 2007 I bought my first SLR, 40D with EFs 17-55mm and then was no turning back, I was hooked.

Since then, I sold my 40D for a 5DmkII, which is the best camera I have ever layed my hands on. It has everything I could dream of and gives me a lot of flexibility.

My lens collection now consists of:

Canon 17-40mm f/4L

Canon 24-70mm 2,8L

Canon 50mm f/1.4

Canon 85mm f/1.8

Canon 100mm 2,8 macro

Photography is now a passion to me and I cant stay seperated from my camera for long. That puts quite some constraints on my travel since I have to have at least 2 lenses with me.

I have a girlfriend named Birgitta, two kids, Eva and Eygló We live in Garðabær, Iceland
