PLEASE DON'T TAKE OR USE MY PICTURES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION !!!
Hello welcome to my profile.
Please have a look.
Taking pictures is my hobby since
the old film days. At one point I lost the interest.
Too frustrating to deal with slides, prints
and negatives, putting them in books or shoe-boxes.
I came back to photography with Coolpix and Co and
since I have my flickr account
I'm a bit addicted to photography
and try many new ideas influenced by
my flickr contacts.
thank you for every single comment.
I take pictures during my daily routine and like how the photography put my surrounding in a different light andcontext when doing it.
I'm happy to add new contacts to my account but have now so many that you might not see much(or just very short )comments from me - sorry for that - be sure i watch all your pictures : )

I am amazed at the quality of Arnd's photograpy, especially the street shots, which are beautiful! I have not seen anyone in any of the street photography groups that consistently takes great street portraits like Arnd.
Belle galerie ... bravo !
Great shots and style.
Each week I visit his photo stream and it's like a trip abroad. arndsan has a knack for capturing individuals in the act of being themselves. Truly beautiful work, I always look forward to his new faces!
his street shots are simply unbelievable. Arndsan has the uncanny ability to capture forever moments of life.
Arndsan is the best at what he does. Most of his candid moments are very exciting to look at. I love his style and technique.
Arnd is one of my favourite photographers on flickr. His photostream is intoxicating, exploring the most interesting of all subjects: people. Every picture is full of a human warmth and sympathy; technically each shot is as professional and perfect as the last.
Arnd was one of the first people I really took notice of when I started to study the work of other street photographers. He has a great eye for catching interesting (and beautiful!) people. I love the spontaneity, energy, and joy that comes through in his stream. And he also makes me want to go to a market and buy some… Read more

I have been watching アーンドさん's photostream for several months. At the beginning, I always think "what's so interesting to randomly shoot people on the streets?". I thought that anyone could do that! But now I realized that through his continuous effort, he already built up a unique collection of street candids that you couldn't see anywhere else. And I found that an important reason of why I'm still visiting his photostream regularly is that, I and probably most people naturally like to look into private lives of the others. It's a human nature, and arndsan provides a big big screen which shows us the faces, the bodies, the clothes, the accessaries, the smile, the anger, the laugh, etc. of the people on street! From this regularly updated screen, we all obtain our fulfillment on looking into the private lives of the others. arndsan, I respect your dedication in creating and maintaining this work. It's not a work that anyone is capable of doing!

I know Arnd personally as we studied Japanese together in Sydney.. His sense of observation is very keen and it is reflected in his images... Arnds photography captures the everyday habits of the locals whereever he lives and portrays it beautifully.
There is a vibrance of colour and energy evident across Arndsan's entire portfolio. He brings us a Japan that is described by it's people and captured by Arndsan's ever waiting lens. A mix of Street Portraiture, Street and Fine Art photography there is an ever present 'freshness' that is one of the hallmarks of his work. It is always a pleasure to view his work and given how prolific he is with his camera, I know I need not wait long to see more of a Japan I have never been to. but am getting to know through his lens.
