I got my first camera at 7 for Christmas. This year (2006) I got for Christmas a Canon Rebel XTi, and I love it. I've taken over 3000 pictures since Dec. 12, 2006 (over 90% of which have gotten tossed), but this camera is fantastic and I'm really enjoying being a better photographer.

Update Sept 2010: I've upgraded to a Canon 7D, L-series glass and a 580EXII flash. Lovin it...
