When I first “met” Ari Hahn, I was impressed and intrigued. His pictures were of everything and anything. Flowers, nature, scenery, animals, household items seen from surprising perspectives. and whatever seemed to catch his fascinating imagination.... (there were even a few hearts sprinkled in here and there... :)) But not only were (are) his pictures fantastic, I was drawn in by his desire to learn...about photography techniques, as well as the incredible world around him—around all of us. I was very happy when he reciprocated in making me his contact, and thanks to flickr, and the miracle of the internet, we soon became good friends. If you're reading this, you probably already know that Ari is not only exceedingly kind, talented, and very funny, but he has one of the most incredible minds anywhere. Each of his comments is a treasure.... I'm often intellectually challenged, deeply touched, or moved to laughter.... but I always learn from his profound wisdom. If I see his icon anywhere, I take the opportunity to read his thoughtful, thought-provoking, or just plain hilarious ideas about flicker images, or just absorb his beautiful vision of life, learning, and love.
