I am planning a journey back to Italy in april 2011. We will start in Rome and leisurely visit several new cities in Umbria then finish in Venice for Easter. Back home there are always image opportunities along the northern California coast. I visit a small town in south central Oregon, Chiloquin, where I am slowly but surely working on a possible retirement home. The wildlife and countryside in Oregon is simply amazing.

This Flickr photo sharing site has become a wonderful experience for me. The image creating enthusiasts from around the World that I have shared with have truly broadened my my vision of Photography. I am very pleased to be able to share and learn through this site.

I have retired my Olympus SP-570UZ camera to light duty and reserve status. I have also placed my E-600 in reserve status. My go to camera now is the Olympus E-5 with two Zuiko Digital ED lenses; the 12-60 f2.8-4.0 SWD and the 50-200 f2.8-3.5 SWD. This is a big step up for me. Also a big learning curve. I am looking forward to faster and clearer image capture. My knowledge base needs to improve concerning all phases of photography and especially low light image capture. The low light conditions are calling.
