Val O. Morris is filmmaker turned author who likes to tell fun horror stories for all ages. The writing bug bit her way back in elementary school, and after years of playing the onscreen monster in several short films, she decided to write books about them. MONSTER GIRL is a fiction story about a young girl who befriends the ghost of her grandfather, and with his help, learns to deal with a school bully. Her newest book, ZOMBIE BOY: PRESS START, is about a young man named Liam who, along with his best friend, Katie, plays a mysterious video game and winds up in a zombie infested alternate video game world!

When not writing, she can be found enjoying popcorn, photography, playing with her dogs, watching football, and drinking lots of Mt. Dew, but not necessarily in that order. She's also a life-long video gamer and tech geek who LOVES horror movies, and is crazy about Godzilla.
