Just trying to give a little something back to the Flickr community in thanks for all the great evenings I've spent wandering through your wonderful and, yes, occasionally bizarre, lives. There are simply so many talented people out there -- compromise a little where unavoidable but never give in. The French have a verb 'flaner' which, I think, covers this nicely. If there's a common thread to these photos I don't know what it is.

Regarding the cameras stolen over the years, I don't think I've been especially careless except in Calcutta where I truly believed he was a member of the Nepali royal family.
