I am a second year graduate student at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, studying human geography. I started in the fall semester of 2010 on a two year M.S. degree and plan to start a Ph.D. program in 2012.

I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with degrees in Geography and Communications.

I currently shoot a D90 with the MB-D80 grip and 18-105 VR and 50mm 1.8 Nikor lenses. I also include an SB-400 Speedlight, and plan to expand my flash collection soon.

I used to shoot a Nikon D40 with an 18-135 Nikor lens and have enjoyed shooting it from Martin to Germany and myriad places in between.

I use 500px for my portfolio these days, so some of my best shots can be found over there.
