A lover of large format photography but time keeps me of to still use large format cameras.Recently I found a new love in Foveon cams like the DP Merrills. Reminds me the old times of Large Format.

In my early photo years I tried to find eye catchers and forgot about the composition. Nowadays I am only interested in photos where the overall picture satisfies me. This sometimes can mean you have to have a longer view on it but you can enjoy much longer. Btw it is far more challenging to find such pics.

Having photographed mit many cameras and many different systems currently I am using Nikon Z6 und Z7 exclusively. Every single Z lens I have tried till today is really good. My main lenses are 14-30/4,0; 24-70/4,0; 50 and 85/1,8 plus Z 70-200/2,8. I can't depart from my beloved Zeiss Apo Sonnar 135 although it gets always tougher to use MF especially for everything moving. Contrary to many Sony failures I didn't have any troubles until now and they work flawlessly.
