I'm a Photographer from the Netherlands who never stops taking pictures.

In photography there is more than meets the eye. I'm convinced that individuals can perceive photos very differently, depending on their history and background, their upbringing and other factors. Nonetheless there is some general understanding on which pictures are hot and others that are not.

Personally I use different cameras e.g. the Pentax 67 and a Fujifilm X-Pro3.

I love to work with vintage lenses of 50 years old. Most of the time the resulting photo is less clinical than those made with modern "perfect" lenses. Many photos on this website were made with lenses like the Carl Zeiss Jena Pancolar, the Russian Helios, some Tomioka lenses, the Japanese Super Takumar and the once Austrian/German now Japanese Voigtländer Nokton.
