I am a single mom of a very respectful teenage son. God blessed mewith a son like Chris. I work full-time as an Ultrasound Technologist and I absolutely love my job. I love where I work and the girls that I get to work with.

I have been quilting for nearly 15 years and still consider myself an advanced beginner. I love to sew but don't get to do it daily. I love to craft, quilt, garden, tinker with odd jobs around the house and watch my soaps. Yes, I record them so I can watch them on my days off! There are only two left of the original four .... oh, how I miss them. lol I was so saddened when they took As The World Turns and Guiding Light off the air.... sniff, sniff.

My best friend is my sister...you may know her as Cindys0707... she is the one who introduced me to the world of swaps and Flickr!

I love lighter brighter colors and all things whimsical. If it will make me laugh.. I have to have it! I also like things simple. I am diggin the linens out there. I love simple embroidery..nothing to fancy or feminine... remember, I do like to get dirty and I don't wear dresses..but I do like to wear aprons!

My dislike, although I can appreciate them, are the old fashioned floral prints, batiks, browns, Kaffe Fasset Fun and Funky florals I can do. I know a lot of people like the Kate Spain stuff... I just can't get into it...but I absolutely LOVE how they end up looking in a completed project. My sister is a Kate Spain Junkie! And her stuff looks great...maybe its because they are in a smaller piece.

Loves: Linen, fresh bright colors (not neon), circles, curves, geometric quilting, bubbles, lines, whimsical but not childish,

I love scrappy, but not too much of it. I like it matched with a solid background so it doesn't get lost.
