About Me
Located in Brisbane, I’ve been shooting on and off for about 5 years.
I’ve always had a passion for taking photographs ever since I was young. I put through 30000 clicks on my old Canon 400D, another 10000 on my 50D and 5000 on my 5D Mark II.
I often find myself out and about shooting regulary – and even during the week. My passions have swayed and changed over the years and now I love Travel Landscape photography and is the passion I will be focusing on for the time being.
I enjoy many forms of shooting particularly the light of sunrise and sunset for Landscape Photography, the rich midday sun for Infrared Photography and overlooked desolate alleyways and architecture for Urban Photography.
I find now that I spend most of his spare time photographing South East Queensland’s beautiful, often overlooked landscapes and its vibrant and sometimes hidden urban environment. To achieve the colours presented in some of my images, I employ HDR (Hyper Dynamic Range) techniques, blending several exposures together.
I visited South East Asia in 2008 photographing the incredible landscapes, cultures and friendly people that inhabit these countries. This year I hope to make it to Canada or back to Cambodia.
So that’s me. Feel free to send me a Flickr mail if you have any questions about anything in my folio – I’m always happy share any pointers and try to update camera info and processing information as much as I find time to on my shots

Read lessMatt is a fantastic photographer, he has come along way in a short time, he is always looking to improve, one of his best traits is his ability to stop and think, and step back, I often see Matt looking dazed as he thinks about his next shot, but once you see what he comes away with, it all makes sense.
