The Arab Development Initiative is a student powered initiative that encourages youth to direct their knowledge, skills, and resources towards addressing and solving developmental problems in the Arab world. It aspires to establish itself as an intermediary between talented youth and organizations working for the development of the region. The ADI seeks to do this by:

1) enlisting the expertise of renowned leaders, thinkers, and scholars to identify and evaluate the most pressing obstacles to development in the Arab world

2) creating opportunities for students to engage in regional development efforts through conferences, networking events, and workshops

The ADI meets the Arab world’s need for greater development by identifying the obstacles to development, catalyzing the creation of stronger networks among students and organizations alike, and bringing people together to turn today’s challenges into tomorrow’s opportunities.

المبادرة العربية للتنمية هي مبادرة طلابية تدفع الشباب لتوجيه علمهم ومهاراتهم ومواردهم نحو معالجة وحل المشاكل التنموية في العالم العربي. تسعى المبادرة أن تكون وسيطًا بين الشباب الموهوبين والهيئات والجمعيات التي تسعى لتنمية و تطوير المنطقة، وتنوي المبادرة إلى القيام بذلك عن طريق:

1. جمع خبرات القادة و المفكرين و العلماء لتحديد وتقييم أكثر العقبات إلحاحًا في الطريق لتنمية العالم العربي

2. إيجاد فرص للطلاب للمشاركة في جهود التنمية الإقليمية من خلال إقامة مؤتمرات وحلقات نقاش وفعاليات للتواصل بين الشباب والمتخصصين

إن هذه المبادرة تلبي إحتياجات العالم العربي لمزيد من التنمية والتطوير من خلال تحديد العقبات في طريق التنمية والتحفيز على إنشاء شبكات أقوى بين الطلاب والمنظمات على حدٍ سواء، لتجمع خبرات الماضي والحاضر حتى نحول تحديات اليوم إلى فرص الغد.
