was hit by a BIG truck twice;, prognosis is good. I

Now retired...yippee! Love photography, but haven't had the time to devote to it until now...

Have been a social worker for the past 32 years. Happily married, with one grown son. Hobbies aside from photography include gardening, reading and meditation.

I love living on Vancouver Island, or 'Paradise' as many locals call it. I appreciate the encouraging comments from other flickr members; and am in awe of the beautiful pictures that other members are creating. (I think of my Favorites as jewels from around the world). I have created galleries to showcase a few of these 'jewels' at a time and pay my respect to the photographers who have contributed such beautiful and creative images for us all to enjoy.
