I'm still a working stiff in the IT field. I've dabbled in photography

all of my life. Never professionally. But yet I sold product to professionals. I started in film, processed my own B&W film and prints. Color prints, slides, even Cibachrome. Love that super glossy finish. Got a "new" Graflex Crown Graphic and I'm getting back into LF. Can't beat 4x5. :)

My personal opinion, UV/Skylight should come in the box with the lens from the manufacture. I guess we can't have everything.

 

My best advice?

Don't leave home without a tripod or at the very least, a monopod.

 

I really don't mind the Mr. Blockhead icons. But please put something about yourself in your profile if you want me as a contact. It only takes a few minutes to set up your profile.

 

DO NOT favorite my photos if you have nothing to share. Flickr is about photo "sharing." You will be blocked!

 

And if I see that you have ZERO photos on your page available to me, you will be blocked. If your point-n-shoot camera can be used to take a picture of you doin' the nasty, then it can be used to take a photo of the tree in your front yard. It's not rocket science.
