Aquarius Reef Base is the world's only undersea research station dedicated to advancing science and education. Aquarius is located on a sand patch surrounded by coral reefs 60 feet underwater in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.

Scientists and educators live in Aquarius during multi–day missions using saturation diving to study, explore and educate the world about our coastal ocean. Aquarius is operated by Florida International University.
